OUR AIMS

Our aims for eTwinners at 3rd Grade in Primary School are:
They will

relate English Curriculum with other relevant subjects for interdisciplinary  and Project Based Learning
-relate our Project with Education of Values by raising awareness to 
 Values Education in English Languge every month
- raise awareness to the Universal Special Days celebrated around the World every month
-integrate Coding into the 1st Unit of English Curriculum which is Greeting
-do our Effective Coding Activity of children greeting with E Letters
-be motivated and participate actively in effective English Lessons
-become more effective in using English for Active Learning                                 
-use and develop Web 2.0 Tools of ICT for 3rd Grade of English Curriculum
-pay attention to eSafety
-pay attention to climate change which is the main theme of eTwinning this year
-participate democratically in the activities of our School Teams-become more aware of English and use it in their daily lives
-prepare creative English products for 3rd Grade and make them widespread to be used effectively in English lesssons to inspire other eTwinners

          OUR PROJECT IS  FROM OCTOBER TO JUNE


                                                  OCTOBER
With our students at 3rd Graders we will
in October,
1.We will take Parent Permission Documents of our students for eSafety.We will organise our School Teams.We will distribute roles of students in School Teams on Google Documents of TwinBoard and teachers on a common chart of page to work in collaboration.
2.Teacher members will introduce themselves by Voki for Education and BANDICAM  Tool by theır own voice and a suitable background to theır city on Twinboard.Student members will introduce themselves by Avachara Tool on Forum.We will prepare an effective video to introduce our School.
3.We will prepare a Project Poster by Canva or PosterMyWall and a logo proposal by LogoMaker then choose our common logo by democratic participation in Tricider Tool.We will use our common logo on our every work.
4.We will ntegrate Europe Code Week into the 1st Unit of 3rd Grade English Curriculum which is Greeting.We will do our Effective coding activity of greeting children with E Letters meaning Effective eTwinners.
5.We will prepare and play an online game about  My Family members with our School Team which is the 2nd Unit of 3rd Grade by LearningApps to integrate our Project into the English Curriculum.
6.We will relate our Project with Education of Values.We will raise awareness to our October Value Honesty.We will prepare Honesty Poster by PhotoFunia Tool.

                                            84,8% of students haven’t been abroad.

                                    18 Teacher joined the survey.
                                     According to survey analysıs
61,19% of teachers have experience with eTwinning.16,7% of teachers don’t have any experience and 22,2% of teachers have experience with eTwinning partially.

77,8% of teachers have used Twinspace before but 16,7%of them haven’t used it before.5,5% of teachers have used Twinspace before partially.

44,4%of teachers sometimes use Web2 tools for effective teaching ,38,9%of teachers always use them effective teaching.11,1%of teachers rarely use Web2 tools ,5,6%of teachers never use Web2 tools.

55,6%of teachers have used canva,voki,postermywall,photofunia,padlet and kizoa before.22,2% haven’t used these tools before and 22,2%have used Web2 tools before partially.

Our teachers shared good wishes and good opinions.

3.We will raise awareness for Human Rights and Democracy Day by preparing theır caricatures and adding sentences on speech bubbles of Comica or Clip2 Comic.

1. As we are having a distance learning period  due to the coronavirus outbreak we will prepare online games about our subjects and share them with our students to study at home efficiently.

This month we will prepare an online game about Unit 7 which is called In My City by using Tinycards and add a photo collage of our pupils studying it at home.

2. For World Water Day, we will ask our students to draw pictures about the importance of water and saving it for climate change. We will add a collage of our students' pictures. 

3.For Tolerance and Nationality value, our pupils will say a message "Please stay at home effectively" . During this period staying at home is extremely important for us and for other people in our countries.

Our pupil will say this message to the city or town of our project partners that we are matched according to KEAMK tool.

We will add a video of your pupil's message by using Inshot tool.

  • Dear friends our last unit is about nature and we want to raise awareness about our environment and climate change. After our students watch "Man 2020" at our webinar, we will ask about their opinions and what should be done for a better climate and environment. They will write their ideas in forum.Their opininons are very precious as they are the potential protectors of nature now and in the future.

JUNE

1. We will share the learning outcomes of 3rd grade English lesson curriculum and other lessons which we have related to our project with an interdisciplinary approach.
We will add our integration of learning outcomes on Twinboard.
2. We will prepare a post-test for our students and  a final survey for our teachers on Google Forms.
We will share analysis of these surveys on the page.
We will share the survey results on storyjumper e-book.
We will add the photos of our pupils answering the post-test.
3. We will prepare a general evaluation for parents on Google forms to evaluate our project. We will share the link on the page and send it to the parents.
We will share the analysis of the survey on the page.
4.We will prepare a common effective quiz as a common product for our pupils to solve and repeat all the units at home as schools are still closed due to the pandemia.
We will prepare this common quiz with the questions from every member by Google Forms.
Every member will be matched with a unit by Keamk,prepare and add that question on the twinboard below.
We will use our students' photos or pictures for questions. So,there will be contribution of our students to the product.
There will be 20 questions and each question will be 5 points.In total, the quiz will be 100 points.
Then our school teams will solve it at home and we will add their collage on the twinboard.
The answer key of the quiz will be shared on the page.
Analysis of the students’ answers will be shared on the page after they have done the quiz.
5. We have touched on ten values with different activities with our pupils throughout the year. We want to terminate our project with an another nice common product.
We will prepare a common values story book with storyjumper tool.
Firstly, we will be matched with values by KEAMK tool. There will be two mixed teams. 
1st mixed team will write the part of the story for the value that they are matched and
2nd mixed team will record the story.
Both 1st and 2nd teams will visualize the value that they are matched with by adding their students’pictures or photos about their values. 
Google docs chart for school teams match will be shared on the page.
We will add our pupil’s work about values common story e-book.
6.We will prepare an online exhibition as a final product that includes varies activities of our school teams we have done throughout the project year by using Artsteps tool. 
Our students will write about their opinions about the online product  in the related part in Forum.

ANALYSIS OF OUR POST SURVEY FOR STUDENTS Here is the analysis of post survey for students in “Effective English with eTwinners” Project. 135 students filled out this survey. Some of them filled out it more than once. 83,7% of students told that they could use web2 tools in this project. While 11,2% of student participants submitted that they could use web2 tools partially 5% of them answered “no” for his question. 95,6% of students liked the activities they did in the project. Only 4,4% of them didn’t like the activites of the project. 94,1% of students found the values activities funny. Only 5,9% of students didn’t find the values activities funny. 90,4% of students who took part in this survey liked “Effective English with eTwinners. This analysis shows that all students’ teams can use web2 tools mostly. We had a high percentage of our little eTwinners that like the activities of our project. They had fun by doing the values activities and liked “Effective English with eTwinners” in general.

REPORT OF THE ANALYSIS FOR POS-TEST OF TEACHERS

ANALYSIS OF OUR POST SURVEY FOR TEACHERS Here is the analysis of post survey for teachers in “Effective English with eTwinners” Project 15 teachers joined this survey. One of them answered twice. These fifteen teachers had different primary schools. 100% of teachers that filled out this survey thought that there was collaboration in this project. All participants told that their students want to join an eTwinning project again. 94,1% of participants that joined this survey told that their students were active during the project. %100 of the participants in this survey would like to be in a different eTwinning Project with the same project team again. This analysis shows that all partners worked collaboratively. Their students are eager to follow eTwinning projects and all teachers like collaborating and working with this project team.

Common Effective Values of eTwinners Story Book

Throughout the year we have touched on values with different activities with our pupils. We want to terminate our project with a nice common product about them.Now, we will prepare a values story book.
A STORY BOOK VISUALIZED AND VOCALISED BY OUR STUDENTS...
After we are matched with values by KEAMK tool,
-1st mixed team will write the part of the story for the value that they are matched and
-2nd mixed team will vocalise the story.
